Prelude
Orchestra is for young string players, who have had a
basic introduction to music reading. Members are
primarily in grades 3 - 6.
The Intermezzo Orchestra
is primarily made up of young musicians in Middle School and
High School. Emphasis in
Intermezzo Orchestra is on building orchestral playing
skills and reading ability.
A majority of Symphony Orchestra
members are in High School, or are selected from advanced,
mature Junior High students. The Symphony Orchestra performs
standard orchestral literature, generally not educational
arrangements.
