The Contemporary
Children's Choir of McHenry County consists of four choirs, Cantate, Chamber, Chorale, Concert and Treble Choir.
These choirs provide a program of sequentially developed skills
which cultivate excellence in musicianship, character and
leadership. The Choir was formed
in 1994 as an outreach of the McHenry County Youth Orchestra and
Community Arts Center. We are in our tenth season and are one of
many programs offered by the McHenry County Music Center.
MISSION STATEMENT
All Children will find singing in this wonderful choir an
enjoyable experience and will develop a
love of singing choral music of the highest artistic standards.
The communities we represent will continue to become aware and
supportive of the arts; especially the excellent work of
children and youth in the arts. |
